This hit FOX musical technology reality series follows several judges, Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson (II), and Paula Abdul, along with host Ryan Seacrest around north america in search of the following American Idol, a pop star that truly shines especially the rest. With help from the particular viewers, they will decide from thousands of participants who will vanish with a record deal along with the fame and fortune that will come along with the idea.
American Idol, titled American Idol: The Search for a Superstar with the first season, is a reality television singing competition created by Simon Fuller and produced by FremantleMedia North America along with 19 Entertainment. It began airing on Fox on June 11, 2002 as an addition for the Idol franchise good UK show Pop Idol, and became one of the most popular shows in the history of American television. As of 2011, it is the many watched TV series from the Nielsen ratings and the only real program to have been primary for seven consecutive periods, surpassing All in family members and The Cosby Display, which were both primary for five consecutive times.
The concept of the series is usually to find new solo documenting artists where the winner relies on the viewers. The series employs a panel of judges that critique the contestants’ shows. The original three idol judges were Grammy Award-winning document producer and music administrator Randy Jackson, Grammy Award-winning pop singer and Emmy Award-winning choreographer Paula Abdul as well as award-winning music executive as well as music manager Simon Cowell. The judging panel currently contains Jackson, Grammy and Golden Entire world nominated singer/actress and file producer Jennifer Lopez as well as Aerosmith frontman and Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Steven Tyler. American Idol was created while using British show Pop Idol, which was in turn inspired by Popstars, a show TV developer Nigel Lythgoe saw in Australia and brought to the site Britain.
